The black hat, the cape, the so-called lingerie. Inspiration or imitation?
During Fashion Week, designers will present looks that you might find in a department store or as knockoffs at Forever 21. But, in the creative industries, originality is part of the job description and plagiarism is frowned upon. At the end of the day, customers know what they want and generally know how to spot a cheaper copy product.
