It’s very important to take risks. I think that research is important,

but in the end you have to work from your instinct and feeling and take those risk and be fearless

Found that there are many young bloggers in Malaysia seemed to make it big in the industry today. ‘Big’ in term of numerous amount of followers via social media such as Instagram. What really made them ‘Big’? Was it about the Givenchy Tee that they’re wearing? Or was it about the face? Or simply just because of the pretty pictures?

Well, I think, as a blogger, it’s not just about pretty pictures. Thank god, I found this blog very well written by the invisible blogger named, Beautifully Invisible.

First of, let me define Fashion bloggers. They are a kind of species of fashionistas that dedicate their lives to their fashion blog, a way where they post pictures of the latest runway trends that no one can ever afford, including themselves, or pictures of themselves in, pardon my use of language, slutty poses wearing things they considered fashionable.

What are you looking in fashion blogs? Why are they so important?

There are other types of fashion blogs out there, focus on commentary and encourage discussion of the industry and trends. It takes more than a pretty face and fancy photography to make a blogger rise above the rest.  With the ones that stand out, when you read their blog you don’t just see pretty pictures.

Plus, bloggers that have a particular angle with their content have a definite advantage over others. (IFB)

Last but not beast, is the Golden era of selfie-centred fashion blogging coming to an end?

Yes. If the only concern of fashion blogging is all about pretty pictures and….

when I see people with a much bigger following than me who don’t know the difference between gift and give, I get a little twitchy.

Bon appetit, blogospheres!
